In 2023, Vigo established itself as an international capital of economic debate with the first edition of the Vigo Global Summit, bringing together Nobel laureates, business leaders, and political figures to reflect on sustainability, digitalization, and major global challenges.
In 2025, the summit returns with greater ambition and international reach. Over two days, it will address the key issues that will shape our immediate future: “Geopolitics and Geoeconomics: The New Global Chessboard” and “Leadership in the Digital Era: Economy, Work, and Society in Transformation.”
To this end, we will feature insights from world-renowned figures such as economist and recent 2024 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Daron Acemoglu; international analyst Alicia García-Herrero; political analyst Brian Wong; and economist María Lorca-Susino, along with other top-tier national and international speakers who will be announced in the coming weeks.
Very soon, we will share the full program of the Vigo Global Summit 2025, which will once again turn the city into a hub for global economic dialogue and reflection.
